Being a fan of a K-Pop group from a small label can be difficult, especially during the midst COVID-19 pandemic when so many artists were having a hard time making ends meet. There have been so many lesser-known artists that have had to disband in the last couple of years in particular, and now it seems like another group might be added to that list based on a discovery by their fans.
It was recently revealed that several months ago, fans of the girl group SATURDAY had gone to the building of their label, SD Entertainment, in order to give some gifts to the members. However, when they arrived at the building, they found it to be completely abandoned, and even had an unpaid light bill taped to the door.

It’s not entirely clear what has happened to SATURDAY in the midst of this discovery. While one would assume they must have disbanded if their label had run out of money to even pay for their building fees, the members are still very active on the group’s social media pages. In fact, the latest post was made not even 24 hours ago.

And yet, they haven’t had a comeback since January 2021 — over two years ago — with the single album Only You, which sadly only made around 2.6k sales.
At this point, it’s not even known if SATURDAY’s members are still under SD Entertainment, or if they have been released from their contracts to allow them to pursue an idol career elsewhere. The recent revelation about the label’s building has caused a stir on social media, where fans of the group are expressing dismay over the discovery.

I love those girls so much, this is terrifying honestly, they deserve so much. I understand that the company might have a problem with money but hopefully it doesn’t affect the girls that much :((

A Reddit post was made on the subject as well, with a lot of varying opinions on what this might mean for the members of SATURDAY going forward.

We hope that wherever the members are, that they’re doing well and are able to support themselves and be happy!
