Kanye West‘s former business manager says the rapper is “missing” after failing to locate him over the last few weeks to serve him legal documents.
Thomas St. John – Ye’s senior financial advisor for 18 months – is attempting to sue him over lack of payment.
St. John filed court papers on Dec. 29 requesting more time to serve the lawsuit paperwork to West due to his apparent disappearance, according to the U.S. Sun.
Former Business Manager Seeking $4.5 Million Over Lack Of Payment, But Can’t Find Kanye To Serve Him
The suit, which names Ye and Yeezy LLC. as defendants on court documents, is seeking $4.5 million.
To make matters worse, St. John and his team have reportedly not been able to reach any legal representatives for West. As it turns out, the “new law firm” St. John identified as West’s “new counsel was not affiliated with” him at all, the outlet reports.
Kanye West has seemingly disappeared as ex-business manager Thomas St. John continues to attempt to serve him with a $4.5 million lawsuit.
The court filing stated: “We were advised about a new law firm for defendants, but not a specific point of contact. We subsequently learned of information in the news that the law firm identified as new counsel was not affiliated with the defendants.”
St. John stated he’s had “difficulty confirming the best current address” for the mercurial rapper and entrepreneur as well.
“Accordingly, we have not been able to serve defendants through their counsel. As a general matter, we have had difficulty confirming the best current address of Kanye West.”
As of today, a case management conference had been scheduled for April 2023, the outlet reports.

West has had a rough past couple of months, much of it his own doing. Earlier this year, he was dropped from his contracts with Balenciaga and Adidas due to “hateful and dangerous” comments about Jews, The Shade Room reported.
Earlier this month, West doubled down on the anti-Semitism, telling Alex Jones’ that he “likes Hitler” on the latter’s Infowars web show.
The Madame Tussauds location in London has since removed its wax figure of West from public view due to the controversies., according to the Independent.
The Shade Room previously reported that West had an honorary degree revoked over “anti-Black and anti-Semitic” comments.
