ACT I: Boomtown Trio
Boomtown Trio kicked off the evening with an incredible display of musicianship and talent. With Craig Butterfield on upright bass, Kristen Harris on fiddle and Cat Galan on vocals and multiple instruments, they played a set that ranged from folksy tunes to a rendition of “Gold Lion” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs that had the crowd singing along.
It was a fantastic start to an amazing night; Art Bar is the music venue for no-frills nights out. The lineup of artists was fantastic and there were three acts that took us on a journey from acoustic strings to driving guitar. The crowd was large and appreciative, which made the whole experience even better.
