Dolly Parton is known for her singing and songwriting career, her philanthropy, her acting and Dollywood of course, but now everyone’s favorite country crooner can add one more thing to her impressive list of accomplishments: master baker. Parton teamed up with Duncan Hines back in January 2022 to create her own line of mixes for Dolly fans and Duncan Hines bakers alike, featuring southern-style sweets and baked goods and now they’ve just announced four new mixes are on the way.
According to a press release released by the company, the original line included “cake mixes and frostings inspired by some of Dolly’s favorite family recipes like Coconut Cake and Banana Puddin’ Cake. Parton was excited to have her very own line of cake mixes, bringing up her love for a “mom and pop kind of cooking” and this Dolly Parton collection certainly embraces that sentiment. Here’s the scoop on what’s to come and how to get your hands on the exclusive new flavors.
What flavors of cake mix does Dolly Parton have with Duncan Hines?

When this partnership was announced in 2022, two cake flavors were released as well as two frosting flavors. The cake flavors included a southern-style banana-flavored cake mix and a coconut-flavored cake mix. The frostings were both classic buttercream and chocolate buttercream. What’s even better about the southern style mixes and frostings is their Dolly Parton caricatures on the packaging with the big hair and pink outfit. It’s like Dolly is right there in your kitchen baking with you!
What are the new flavors of the Dolly Parton baking mixes?
In addition to the original Dolly Parton flavors that were released last year, four new flavors are slowly rolling out in January. These four new flavors include the Buttermilk Biscuit Mix, made with real buttermilk, for $3.29, and two brownie mixes, a Fudgey brownie and a Caramel Turtle Mix (Dolly’s personal favorite) for $3.49. There’s also a sweet cornbread and muffin mix for $3.29. Dolly even commented on the new caramel turtle brownies with a caramel drizzle and walnuts, saying “Caramel turtle brownies are one of my all-time favorite desserts so I am thrilled to bring you my Duncan Hines caramel turtle brownie mix in store now.”

To hype up these new flavors even more, the boxes feature a “Dolly’s favorite” recipe that includes ways to use the mix and make it even better than the boxed stuff. This includes pecan brownies and a peanut butter brownie skillet sundae, cheddar and chive biscuits and jalapeño cornbread.
Where to buy the Dolly Parton x Duncan Hines flavors
These four new flavors are supposed to hit the shelves later in January, but Duncan Hines is helping fans get their hands on them by having them shipped to you, rather than waiting for your local store to get them in stock. “Early access to all new baking mixes will be made available as part of Duncan Hines’ limited-edition Dolly Parton’s Baking Collection beginning February 8 on shop.duncanhines.com, while supplies last,” a spokesperson for the brand said in a statement.

Even better, these new flavors are anticipated to be so popular that you can preorder them on February 1 to get all four new flavors before anyone else, taking on a very Taylor Swift-esque mantra if you ask us.
