This is the first ever Thai movie from Warner Bros Thailand, an ambitious sci-fi time-hopping thriller. During the Vietnam War, the American military built a large research station at Camp Ramsun, rumored to be a site experimenting with supersonic travel. The film spans different time periods, from the pre-historic Ban Chiang, now a UNESCO world heritage site, to 100 years in the future. Taklee Genesis , also known as ตาคลี เจเนซิส in Thai, is both written and directed by the Thai filmmaker Ma-Deaw Chookiat Sakveerakul (aka “Matthew” Chookiat Sakveerakul), director of many movies including House of Ghosts , 13: Game of Death , Love of Siam , The 4 Movie , Grean Fictions , The Eyes Diary , Pay It Forward , Dew , and Mondo , and a few more TV series like “Nang Marn” and “Manner of Death” previously.
