The early reviews of John Wick: Chapter 4 have landed …
And it turns out that the movie is universally adored!
Keep scrolling to find out more.
If there’s one thing that the internet can agree on, it’s that Keanu Reeves is an all-around great guy.
The actor currently resides in the Hollywood hills after gaining fame in an impressive range of massively successful movies.
Do you recognize him from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) which told the story of two slackers traveling through time?
It was so successful that it was followed by a sequel: Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey in 1991.
Or what about his 1992 appearance in Gothic horror-romance, Bram Stoker’s Dracula?
His performance in this rather overblown movie has been pretty much universally panned.
He also starred in the buddy-cop thriller, Point Break, in 1991, alongside Gary Busey and Patrick Swayze.
It was a commercial smash and went on to garner a cult following.

The suspenseful thriller told the tale of a rigged bus that would explode if it slowed down. Keanu starred alongside Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper, but has since shaded the film by refusing to star in the sequel. His reason? “The movies I wanted to make were movies I wanted to see.” Ouch.
But there’s one role that really turned Keanu into a household name…
His role as Neo in The Matrix franchise.
The movies are still thought of as touchstones within the science fiction genre.
While he may be an incredible actor, Keanu’s talents don’t finish there…
He’s also a talented musician and spent many years playing bass for the alternative rock band, Dogstar, in the ’90s.
From a very young age, Keanu experienced grief.
Keanu’s father walked out on the family when he was just 3-years-old…
He was ultimately arrested for possession of drugs in 1994, leading to Keanu not wanting to ever contact his father again.
His younger sister, Kim, was diagnosed with leukemia aged twenty-five.
He also suffered a tragedy when he and Jennifer Syme lost their child. The baby was stillborn on Christmas eve, a month before the due date.
Many may expect the heartbreak and hurt he’s experienced to make him bitter…
But, instead, it’s quite the opposite as Keanu has become an incredible philanthropist. He’s well known for supporting a wide range of charitable causes, from PETA to Stand Up To Cancer.
He’s even quietly funded children’s cancer hospitals for many years.
It’s no surprise that he’s developed a large online following of fans.
What might be a little unusual is that some of them believe he’s actually immortal.
Now, there’s no denying that Keanu has aged like fine wine, but there’s a different reason behind their theory.
According to the official Keanu Reeves Is Immortal website, he looks suspiciously similar to the 8th-century king, Charlemagne, and Paul Mounet, a 19th-century actor.
Well, that’s not all. The website first began, piggybacking on Reddit threads questioning why he looks the same as he did when he first started out in Hollywood.
Fans shared photos of him throughout the ages, and the conspiracy theories grew from there.
He finally addressed the theories back in 2017 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon…
And he didn’t deny them.
“We’re all stardust, baby!” he said in response to Fallon.
Fallon showed him his likeness to doppelgängers: Charlemagne, Paul Mounet, and a man pictured in the Parmigianino painting, which has been used to ‘confirm’ he is immortal.
Just like the rest of us, he seemed pretty shocked by the resemblance.
But does that prove he’s immortal?

A sweet story from his Speed co-star, Sandra Bullock, also went viral!
She told Esquire that the pair were talking about champagne and truffles…
And Bullock revealed she had never tried the luxurious combination!
A few days later, Keanu turned up on her doorstep.
“I just thought you might want to try Champagne and truffles, to see what it’s like,” he told her.
“He sat on the couch. Bullock poured some Champagne, and they opened the truffles,” according to the Esquire piece.
“Keanu put his hands out, without a word, and Bullock painted his nails black, same as hers.”
In a viral tweet, a Keanu fan made a collage of photos of the star meeting women.
But the eagle-eyed Twitter-user noticed that Keanu was keeping a respectful distance from each of his female fans, careful not to place his hands on their bodies.
And one fan pointed out that, by not imposing physical touch on his fans, Keanu likely makes them feel even closer to him.
It often seems like the more we learn about certain celebrities, the more trashy they seem.
But with Keanu, the opposite is true – and we’re truly thankful there’s a star like him in the world.
You can see the pictures here.
And now, Keanu has opened up about his latest venture…
The actor revealed that it was the “hardest movie” he’s ever made.
He made the surprising comments during a Comic-Con Experience in Brazil this year.
Keanu said: “John Wick 4 is the hardest movie I’ve ever made.
“In terms of action, it’s the hardest film I’ve ever made. But that’s what makes it good.”
It seems like Wick is making even more enemies in the latest installment of the franchise…
Keanu said: “The table is this world above the world; and the people, the assassins, under the table are as boundless as the grains of sand on the beach.
“So there [are] a lot of people coming after John Wick.
“But really, for the John Wick film[s], it’s really just the invention of the scene, right? How can you do these scenes?”
And director Chad Stahelsk has confirmed that Keanu had been training hard for the movie…
He told IGN that Keanu had insisted on expanding Wick’s skills, even taking up nunchuck training.
He said: “Keanu does nunchucks in this movie, which you’ve seen in the trailer.
“Keanu spent months knocking himself out, getting good at nunchucks. Ambidextrous, right hand, left hand, while shooting a gun. F***ing guy is great at it.”
And now, the first press screenings of the film have opened.
The movie showed in London last night, and critics have revealed they absolutely love it!
“Amazing to remember that big franchise blockbusters can look like this (good). Dan Lausten, you have my heart, my sword, my whatever. Didn’t feel too long, you can ignore the lore (who cares!!)” wrote one.
“F*cking awesome,” wrote another. “Literally had to pick my jaw off the ground from some of the insane and inventive set pieces. You are not prepared for what Keanu does with the dragon’s breath shotgun.”
“Brawny, bold & badass, #JohnWick4 brilliantly balances vested stakes with an absolutely spectacular, high-octane thrill ride. A soaring, searing, scorching chapter in the saga. The wildest time you’ll have at the movies this year. A pure adrenaline rush,” offered a third.
“I had reservations about John Wick: Chapter 4’s nearly three hour runtime, but the movie earns it. It’s an epic with smart pacing that never lets the action feel exhausting, and the set pieces are phenomenal. Great cast of series newcomers, but Donnie Yen is the MVP,” a fourth added.
“One of the greatest action movies ever made, John Wick 4 tops all 3 of its predecessors in storytelling, scope & stakes, countless astonishing set pieces, hard to fathom it’s all contained within one film, Bill Skarsgård slays, a hellaciously thrilling franchise finish 9.5/10,” another fan wrote.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is in cinemas March 24, looks like it’s certainly set to be a hit!
