Movies NEON’s Horror Movie ‘Cuckoo’ Starring Hunter Schafer Rated “R” for “Violence” & “Bloody Images” NEON has been dominating the horror movie discourse here in 2024, with the Nicolas Cage-starring Longlegs and the Sydney Sweeney-starring Immaculate headed our way. And then there’s starring Cuckoo Hunter Schafer (“Euphoria”), which is coming to theaters on May 3, 2024 . The film has been officially rated “R” by the MPA this week for… “Violence, bloody images, language and brief teen drug use.” Cuckoo , the new horror movie from director Tilman Singer ( Luz ), will be making its International Premiere this month at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
